2 April 2025 – Call for abstracts

1 December 2025 – Deadline for submission of abstracts

14 January 2026 – Notification of abstract evaluations to authors

16 March 2026 – Deadline for submissions of extended abstracts

When your initial abstract is accepted we invite you to write an extended abstract / paper of circa 5-6 pages. This extended abstract will be reviewed by one of the members of our review board. The papers will be published in a conference book published by De Gruyter Brill (previous edition: EurSafe2024 Proceedings – Back to the future – Sustainable innovations for ethical food production and consumption | Brill ). Each publication will be published Open Access.

Since these papers are mostly not full journal manuscripts you can still publish further elaborated or reworked versions in a peer-reviewed journal.

15 May 2026 – Notification of extended abstracts to authors

8 June 2026 – Deadline for early bird registration (also see Registration Timeline to be announced)

19 June 2026 – Final submission of corrected extended abstracts

14 August 2026 – Extended abstracts galley proofs for final check

1-5 September 2026 – Online publication of Conference Proceedings (e-book)

22 August 2026 – Deadline for late registration (also see Registration Timeline to be announced)

9-12 September 2026 – Conference
